Podia is an all-in-one platform designed for creators who want to build a website, sell knowledge-based products, communicate with their audience, and manage customers without connecting several separate services.
Creators can use Podia to publish online courses, sell ebooks, templates, audio files and other digital downloads, offer coaching, organize online or in-person events, and operate paid or free communities. Courses can include video, audio, text, downloads, quizzes, certificates, comments, progress tracking, previews, scheduled access, and cohort-based delivery.
Podia is most relevant to creators who already have expertise, content, or a product idea. It does not provide a ready-made catalog of products. The creator remains responsible for developing the course, download, coaching offer, community content, pricing, positioning, and audience acquisition.
All paid plans include a website, community, digital products, checkout, email tools, and customer management. The entry-level Mover plan includes 50 products and charges a 5% Podia transaction fee. Shaker and Earthquaker remove the Podia transaction fee, although standard Stripe or PayPal processing charges still apply.

Support was slow once during a payment processing question
Everything about actually running the course has been smooth. Had one billing related question that took a few days longer to resolve than I expected, otherwise no real complaints.
Bundling downloads with my course cut down on member confusion
Students used to email asking where to find supplementary materials before I bundled everything under one Podia login. That confusion basically disappeared once it was all in one place.
Course platform without the marketing bloat I didn’t need
Already had an email tool I liked so a fully bundled platform felt like overkill. Podia let me focus purely on course delivery and community, which is exactly what I was missing elsewhere.
Deep course tools, some setup trial and error
Course creation tools go deeper than I expected, quizzes and certificates worked well for a cohort based program I run. Took some real trial and error figuring out the cleanest way to structure a course alongside standalone downloads.
Consolidated three tools into one
Moved off three separate subscriptions onto just this and it simplified my whole operation overnight. The 5% fee on the entry plan stung a little until I upgraded and it disappeared completely.
Convenient bundle, thin on email marketing
Bundling my course, downloads and community under one login genuinely cut down support questions from students. The built in email tool felt limited compared to a dedicated platform though, ended up paying for a separate one anyway.
